HARE'S-TAIL Hare's "-tail ` (-tal `), n. (Bot. )

 

Defn: A kind of grass (Eriophorum vaginatum ). See Cotton grass, under Cotton. Hare's-tail grass (Bot. ), a species of grass (Lagurus ovatus ) whose head resembles a hare's tail.
