Scipio Aemilianus

Scip i o Ae mil i a nus |ˈsipēˌō iˌmilēˈānəs ˌsɪpioʊ ɪˌmɪliˈeɪnəs | ( c. 185 –129 bc ), Roman general and politician; full name Publius Cornelius Scipio Aemilianus Africanus Minor; adoptive grandson of Scipio Africanus. He achieved distinction in the siege of Carthage in 146 during the third Punic War and in his campaign in Spain in 133.
