Parton, Dolly

Par ton, Dolly |ˈpärtn ˈpɑrtn | (1946 –), US country singer and songwriter; full name Dolly Rebecca Parton. She also made a number of movies, including Nine to Five (1980 ) and Steel Magnolias (1989 ), and she founded Dollywood, a theme park in Tennessee.
