ざんねん 【残念 】残念な 形容詞 sorry ; regrettable, regretful ; 〖失望させる 〗disappointing ; 〖悔しがらせる 〗｟やや書 ｠mortifying .使い分け sorry 「残念な 」の意を表す最も一般的な語 ．「残念な 」の意では必ず人が主語になり, 叙述的に用いる: 私は試験に落ちて残念だ I am sorry (that ) I failed the test.
