Pi sa no 1 |piˈzänō pəˈzɑnoʊ | family name of Italian sculptors Andrea ( c. 1290 – c. 1348 ) and his son Nino (died c. 1368 ). Andrea created the earliest pair of bronze doors for the baptistery at Florence (completed 1336 ). Nino was one of the earliest to specialize in freestanding life-size figures.
