ふうふ 【夫婦 】a (married ) couple, husband [｟書 ｠ man ] and wife .解説 couple が一般的. couple より堅い結びつきを言うときは pair を用いることがある. いずれも単 複両扱い. 夫婦を構成する夫と妻に視点を置く場合は husband [man ] and wife で通例無冠詞で用いる .1 ~夫婦 ▸ 若夫婦 a young couple .▸ 老夫婦 an elderly [a senior ] couple .
