HYPOSTATIC, HYPOSTATICAL
a.Relating to hypostasis; constitutive. Let our Carneades warn men not to subscribe to the grand doctrine of the chimists, touching their three hypostatical principles, till they have a little examined it.
1. Personal, or distinctly personal; or constituting a distinct substance.
