TREFOIL

n.[L. trifolium; tres, three, and folium, leaf. ] The common name for many plants of the genus Trifolium; also, in agriculture, a name of the medicago tupulina, a plant resembling clover, with yellow flowers, much cultivated for hay and fodder.
