VETIVER Vet "i *ver, n. (Bot. )
Defn: An East Indian grass (Andropogon muricatus ); also, its fragrant roots which are much used for making mats and screens. Also called kuskus, and khuskhus. [Sometimes written vetivert, and vitivert.]
