OMNIPOTENCE, OMNIPOTENCY
n.[L. omnipotens; omnis, all, and potens, powerful. ] 1. Almighty power; unlimited or infinite power; a word in strictness applicable only to God. Hence it is sometimes used for God. The works of creation demonstrate the omnipotence of God.
