ALLELOMORPH Al *le "lo *morph, n. [Gr. of one another + Gr. form. ] (Biol.)

Defn: One of the pure unit characters commonly existing singly or in pairs in the germ cells of Mendelian hybrids, and exhibited in varying proportion among the organisms themselves.
