RESUPINATE
a.[L. resupinatus, resupino; re and supino, supinus, lying on the back. ] In botany, reversed; turned upside down. A resupinate corol is when the upper lip faces the ground, and the lower lip the sky. A resupinate leaf is when the upper surface becomes the lower, and contrary; or when the lower disk looks upward.
